UPDATE 2:  Swiss radio station Couleur3 Tweeted that it will play ‘Comedown Machine’ in its entirety later today. You’ll be able to listen to it on its website.

Thanks for the info, Pat.

UPDATE: Remember when I said “I remain extremely skeptical” that Sopitas.com will have the world-exclusive ‘Comedown Machine’ stream a couple of hours ago?

That skepticism has largely faded away because of this tweet by Sony music.

I think it will stream tomorrow, at 4 p.m. ET. But stay tuned throughout the day tomorrow, as I wouldn’t be surprised to see the record streaming earlier than that.

UPDATED

On its website, Mexican music website Sopitas.com claims that it will post the first stream of The Strokes’ ‘Comedown Machine’ on Monday, March 18.

The post, which is in Spanish, can be read . Here’s the translation…

Tomorrow, Monday, 18 March, anyone can listen to the new album by the Strokes. Where? Right here on Sopitas.com! So, the album which is called Comedown Machine goes on sale until 26 March. However, we will give you the opportunity to listen to the album-a-week earlier exclusively with us, starting this Monday, March 18 starting at 4 pm Central Time in Mexico, 4:00 PM new York, 10:00 pm UK time, etc

I’ve been reading about this possible stream for a few days now, and I remain extremely skeptical.

The most recent post on their website — as of 9:52 p.m. CT on March 17 — is about . I don’t think a site like that would be granted the first stream of ‘Comedown Machine’ — maybe they’ll have it, along with Rolling Stone or another English-speaking music blog —  but I guess we’ll see tomorrow.

Anyway, expect a leak or a stream early this week.
