Remember that brief period when The Strokes were active?
That was a fun two months. Anyway, it appears as if we’re in the early stages of another prolonged period spent waiting for The Strokes to do something. The band’s members appear to be on opposite coasts of the United States, and Nick Valensi is now working with Brody Dalle out in LA. It seems as if he’s just helping her record a few songs, based on the caption — Dalle wrote “ Thank you Nicky Valensi for the radass guitar” on Instagram – which accompanied the following photo.
You might know Dalle from her time fronting The Distillers, or as the wife of Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme. Homme is friends with The Strokes, as can be seen here…
