For those who live inside the UK, watching The Strokes play Radio 1′s Big Weekend on Sunday is a piece of cake. Just go here at around 9 p.m. UK time and watch.
For those outside of the UK, it gets a bit trickier. You have to go here, download the Expat Shield and then tune into the Radio 1 webcast. It’s an extra step, but it’s The Strokes, so it’s worth it I’d say.
On a personal note, I love that The Strokes are on all these webcasts. I live in the Midwest and while they’ve scheduled three shows in California and one in Nevada thus far, they haven’t scheduled one in this region all summer long. The webcasts help ease the pain.
