UPDATED
Albert blew up my Twitter feed tonight, answering a number of fan questions. The most newsworthy items were regarding The Strokes touring later this year, and his plans to support his new EP with a tour. “: Ya CM!” Don’t know/always a chance but really don’t know — Albert Hammond, Jr. ()
At this point, it seems apparent that The Strokes won’t support their new album with a tour. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them focus on making their new record — I’ve twice written that this is the plan in recent months — and then tour when Strokes VI is released.
In the meantime, don’t be surprised to see Albert on tour later this year.
“: are you going to your for the new EP?” Yes!
