I saw there is a public access show on YouTube called Highland Park TV that is going to have an episode called The Julian Casablancas Show. I don’t know what that means, but could be interesting. It’s on their Instagram account.

Never mind. If watch what they do on periscope, they just make fun of the Strokes. Not even in a funny way.

Sorry to hear about the closing. Hopefully another (new and improved) station will fill the gap. Satellite radio might also be an option?

Just wanted to give a heads up that popmarket is having a 30% sale on Strokes stuff. I also gotta a code that you might be able to use which will save you 30% off your total order. I already used it once but I’m not sure if it’s a single-use code so if anyone wants to try it, go ahead. The code is PMLOVE.

something weird I noticed while listening to Culture Void…

Right after Veridis Quo, Julian says “that was Sebastien Tellier, and then after that we heard one from the Missing Presumed Dead. Coming up next is one of my favorite songs, it’s an instrumental by Daft Punk” and then Cerebral Ballzy starts playing.

So, I guess there must have been some kind of mixup BUT I found some info about an early 80s postpunk band called Missing Presumed Dead. Maybe that was what Julian was gonna play?

Albert’s in LA apparently. Nick’s wife posted a photo with Nick a few days ago saying they were in LA working on a super secret project. Sounded like she may be involved so I didn’t think it could be TS related, but then seeing Albert is in LA too…maybe them two are working on something, or maybe, just maybe….

The “Threat of Joy” video was fucking sick. I loved it despite some haters on there. I recently came across this new band’s album. I think you guys will really like it. They’re from LA.

Thanks. No change yet.

I just bought a bunch of Strokes stuff from there last month! It was on sale, but not that low. And at the time, I didn’t even think to check for a coupon, which is really annoying because I usually do. (But I did get free shipping, and now it’s only for orders over $100, so maybe it evened out.)

BTW, how did you get that code? I’m on their mailing list — I didn’t see anything.

(I always post in twos, I’ve noticed. I am The Afterthought Czar.)

Did anyone else get ANOTHER email from Cult this morning saying their “Future Present Past” order was still back ordered? I ordered mine the day it was available for pre order too. This is getting ridiculous.

Yeah I did the same thing last week when it was 20% off and just saw that it’s even cheaper this week. Kinda sucks because I could’ve saved some more money but whatever. I got the code sent to me because I had ordered something through myplay in March but it was back ordered so they said they would send it later and they ended up cancelling my order because of them switching to popmarket or whatever. So they sent me that code as a way of saying sorry, I guess. Still not sure if it’s a one time use or not though.

@A yeah I got that e-mail too. They finally got back to me and said they hope to have them in stock later this week.

Haha. That’s what they told me last week.
