Wouldn’t it be cool if someone was filming this? Seriously filming it for a feature film/documentary? I mean ALL of this: the aborted sessions, the intraband tension, the comeback performances and then “The Strokes: What I Did on My European Summer Vacation?”

Directed by Warren Fu? It would be like “Don’t Look Back” meets “Rock N Roll High School.”

Hell, if Foo Fighters can have a “movie”, so can The Strokes.

Anyone have any hints on the “never before played-on-tv” song will be for Conan tomorrow? My guess is Games or Gratisfaction, but I wish they would figure out how to do Machu Picchu, even if they have to loop extra sound effects. But I would be perfectly happy with Gratisfaction or Games, so long as Jules hits those unnecessarily high notes like he did at Coachella.

i’m thinking games, as several members have expressed their fondness for the song. got my fingers crossed for machu picchu though…
also, the strokes on conan on 420 = sooooo aweseome

I’m rooting hard for gratisfaction on Conan tonight. that would be amazing. but of course, I’d be happy with ANY strokes song. I’ll take what i can get =)

I wish they would play “Taken for a Fool” on Conan, make a video, and put it out as a single! Fer crying out loud Angles just dropped to 27 spots to #45 on the Billboard 200. That’s called a nose-dive. Maybe they don’t care? I dunno.
