When the good news flows, the good news flows.
Just hours after Rolling Stone released the first substantial details about the songs on Angles, the reported title of The Strokes’ long-awaited four album, it’s been confirmed that The Strokes will headline Coachella on Sunday, April 17.
See all the details here.
As somebody who has witnessed The Strokes’ live set — and considering the details about the band’s fourth album — I insist that you attend. It doesn’t matter if you’re in South America or Canada or North Carolina. If you read this site on a regular basis and have full health and the means to attend, you need to see The Strokes on the 17th.
There’s nothing like standing in the front as 50,000 people sway with euphoria as The Strokes launch into the chorus of The Modern Age. I hope to see you there.

That lineup made me even more gleefully mad, but then i realised that i cant afford to go to coachella this year, and man, i am bummed.
I have no means unfortunately
But just having the album is good enough for me!!!
I will definitely be making the trip from NY. This will be my 4th year in a row but the first time i am attending solely because of one band’s name on the bill.
@ john … i’m coming from boston and i pretty much told myself that if the strokes weren’t on the bill, i wouldn’t go. arcade fire! animal collective! the black keys! fuck yeah bitches! i’m going.
The Strokes bring everyone togetherz. See ya there John, Alanna, and Eric!
Super stoked for this. This will be my second year going to coachella. Anyone else seeing them in vegas?
wow i know my chances of going to this show are slim, but i will sure have to consider it as the lineup for all 3 days are pretty epic, and the strokes are headlining on my birthday!
Is anyone else going to see them in Vegas?
Cause I was wondering if anyone knows if the general admission tickets are balcony or floor or wherever they are?
General admission are on the floor, in front of the stage. Reserved seating is the stadium seating behind ga. Why reserved seating cost more is beyond me.
Source: I called The Cosmopolitan and asked. FYI ga tickets are now sold out.
Alright thanks a lot man!
And yeah, even though I saw the seated tickets were more, I still bought the ga during the pre sale.
So I kept wondering.
Thanks for the info(:
Ryan, do you know how many people The Chelsea holds?
No clue. Lady I had talked to said it was a pretty small venue. I’m sure you can call and ask tho.
hope you guys all got your camping passes. if you haven’t got a festival pass yet, they are apparently selling faster than last year.
