I have a pretty severe scheduling conflict for The Strokes headlining slot at Lollapalooza, so I’m currently deciding whether I’m going to attend.
Before I decide, I would like to get an idea of who is planning on attending the show and if there is any interest in having a meet-up at a TBD location around noon or so. That’s what I really want(ed) to do for the Lollapalooza gig, so if you’re interested in meeting up with myself and a bunch of Strokes fans, please leave a comment.
I’m going to make the decision based on the interest of the meet-up because it’s going to be hell for me to get back to Chicago for The Strokes’ gig. Please let me know…

This sounds like a pretty good idea Eric, i was thinking of getting there early, that way we could go straight to the Budweiser Stage, that way when The Strokes perform we can be in the front row(:

Update: I am going. Things have worked out and I’ll be back in town on Thursday night.
I’m up for hanging out at the Budweiser stage all day. The only people I really want to see are B.o.B. and Hot Chip, but I’m OK with missing Hot Chip to get that prime real estate. I’m going to author a post two or three weeks from now for e-mails and what not for anybody who’s interested.
And Cheyenne — I’d love to meet you, but a 23-year-old setting up a meeting place with a 14-year-old will probably get me arrested.
