Such a catchy chorus! Really diggin it

That was the first thing I heard as well – damn, this song sounds compressed. Besides that, I loved Julian’s vocal harmonies, just wish they were a little less copy-paste on each of the choruses.
Hey, so a little while back somebody mentioned something about a deleted JC&TV instagram post with the title of their next album and some album art. Anybody have a screenshot of that or remember what it was?

@Human Dadness – amigo that was on 1st April – and it was a April fool’s joke …

9 Human Dadness April 7, 2017 at 11:15 am

@Konrad – Wow, I guess that makes me this site’s April fool. Darn it, guess I’ll go back to waiting…

idk man the fact that they acknowledged the desire for a second LP means something might be in the works

when is voidz 2 comming wtffff its been so long. jULian’s being real careful with this 2nd album cause he knows that itll make or break his band.

i predict he overproduces it and it comes out stale and dull. the voidz will break up coz they wont make money off touring and yeah.

hope not doe. js.

I’m definitely hearing Phrazes influences in this, especially the harmonies.

I remember an interview with Amir last year that said Voidz 2 was already done and was waiting to be released

i asked them in the hotel they were staying yesterdayt in argentina, thay said that once the tour in south america is finished they will polish what needs to be polished and they will release it. “very soon” they said

20 Casanegras April 14, 2017 at 1:11 am

Can’t wait to read this new book coming out May 23 from Lizzy Goodman-it’s called
Meet Me in the Bathroom
Interviews and stories of the music scene (and more) from 2001-2011.
One reviewer said “if you love The Strokes, you’re probly going to get off on this. Is this it? You bet”

She is doing a book signing at the Strand on May 23.

This book description/review from Amazon (surprisingly) has a great informative review for anyone interested:

Nice find. This should be a great read. Thanks for sharing!

You guys realize the part Julian wrote at the end of this cover is like next level shit right?

Excerpt from Lizzy Goodman’s new book, prepare to feel sort of depressed

32 Mike P May 15, 2017 at 1:29 pm

That was an awesome read, but yeah the last bit by Albert was pretty sad. He could’ve sead it jokingly though, tone is lost in print sometimes. Or he could have a lot of guilt still. Who knows.

33 Mikey B May 15, 2017 at 1:32 pm

This explains a good amount of what happened with the strokes. It definitely seems like albert was the biggest at fault, even though it was an addiction he was suffering from. You could say Ryan Adams and Courtney Love were the Yoko and Linda of the strokes.

@Annie1251

Thanks for the heads up about the Strand event.
