The Strokes will play for approximately 40 minutes at Saturday’s KROQ Weenie Roast and you can watch on KROQ’s website where they will be broadcasting the show via UStream.

I don’t know, I’ve never seen the Strokes live, but I have a feeling that if they played their own shows in a regular tour that maybe they’d be little more ON? Not sure though, what do you guys think?
I thought he was back on his game after the Ellen performance. Its so weird how hit or miss his vocal performances are.
@Caroyln, I think that’s a lot of the issue, and the fact they aren’t rehearsing as obsessively as they used to.
yeah wen they were touring playing every day they were just on it, it was effortless
plus doing thee festival shows, and now at a point where theyre not main headliner
theyre limited to only an hour so theres always gonna be songs u wish theyd played
where in an hr and a half set they could get through pretty much all the ones u wanna hear
tho id say todays se was more balanced than the radio 1 one the other week, fair balance from all albums (apart from room on fire sadly)

1) You Only Live Once.
2) I wouldn’t mind if they dropped You’re So Right. I agree with a lot of people on here that it’s better live than on the record, but it’s still a weak song.
3) Someday. That song, along with Last Nite, made me fall in love with the band when the first record came out. It’s one of their best and, correct me if I’m wrong, they haven’t been playing it much recently, if at all.
