Hey fan girls! Here’s your chance to seduce the legendary Nikolai Fraiture

To help raise money for New York City Public School PS 41, Nikolai Fraiture is auctioning off a personal bass lesson.

Two things. First, how the hell is the value of one bass lesson with Nikolai $2,750? I mean, it would be cool to meet Nikolai and spend an hour hanging out with him, but would I pay a quarter of $2,750? No way.

Also, this is a neat, thoughtful way for Niko to raise money for a cause he clearly cares about. But it’s also a prime opportunity for a fan girl out there — maybe you just came into some bat mitzvah money or your foot was run over by a FedEx truck — to meet Nikolai and try to seduce him. Sure he has a wife and a kid, but do those two love The Strokes as much as you? I doubt it.

Julian Casblancs is not 5’8
It’s been stated in interviews that he’s over 6ft tall. And… besides he did a little bit of modeling for Elite when he was younger, and I doubt they’d take anyone under 6ft.

Also… Jarvis Crocker is 6ft+…

First of all, as a fairly short lady (5’5), I can say that I consider 5’8 to be a great height (perfect hugging height!!) Also Julian is like 6’1 or something.

Second, did some people seriously believe “Nikolai” was the REAL Nikolai? What are we, 12?

Third, trying to seduce Nikolai would be the most awkward and hilarious thing ever.

I have read somewhere that some person who interviewed Strokes described Nikolai as painfully shy. So, who ever gain that lesson, be careful! :)

I feel so bad for Nikolai – he really is trying to do something good here for charity. I am really surprised that there is only one bid.

You had a good idea, though! Does it say anywhere that it has to be ONE person per bid?

I wouldn’t feel too bad. I checked out the other celebrity auctions on there and a lot of them don’t have that many bids. And its not like its getting that much publicity. Other than here, the website, and Niko’s twitter, none of which have massive amounts of visitors, how would anyone know that this is even a thing?
