Damn this needs to leak… Honestly wasn’t too excited after OWT and ATT, but after revisiting OWT tonight, I’m loving it! Just reading the descriptions of the songs is starting to drive me batty. Why oh why hasn’t this leaked yet??
Isn’t the album being released in some other countries on the 22nd? If so, you would think the physical albums would have to be in production for days now. Can’t believe it’s not out there yet…
I wasnt dissapointed with a single track on the album, there aren’t really any of the “hard” rockers like Vision of Division or Metabolism, and All The Time is definitely the least interesting track, the rest of the album doesn’t feel by the numbers at all, and to be honest I think it’s their second or third best album, but then again I did only get one listen, but I promise, it’s excellent.

Someone with one of those twitter things should ask Ryan about the album streaming on Monday. I think he would have a better idea about something like that then the band would
@dionandgarfunkel If I’m not mistaken, Sony Music owns RCA which explains that. The whole Nick and Jules thing was made public when reports surfaced that Nick was supposedly being sued by Julian for stealing Strokes’ material (AKA Julian’s material) for use in a solo project. It became really obvious after that. Like Julian would go over to talk to Albert, Fab and Niko during shows but pretended Nick didn’t exist. Kinda sad..

Anyone else really learning to love All the time? At first, I thought it was a straight forward, middle of the road Strokes song…..but I find myself singing it constantly. I think both songs we’ve heard from Comedown Machine now are fantastic.
come to think about this ‘nick’s solo stuff’ seems to be there are no solos not even guitar lick in any of these songs. i thought nick is the solo wizard for the strokes. why can’t he do even some simple lick? hmm.. maybe this wasnt really his solo project eventhough the production sounded like a quality product.

Yeah, I totally agree with you. Actually, it was a bit bland for me the first few times that I listened to it (except for the guitar solo of course). Then it started playing on the radio and I started noticing stuff in the song that I didn’t really notice before. Now that the music video is out, I can’t stop humming it in my head, and I actually learned how to play it on guitar. I searched up tabs for it and there weren’t any yet so I learned it just by my memory of the song and I think I got it down pretty well so far.
