UPDATE: ZANE IS ON NOW, the Strokes’ single will debut at 7:30 GMT. Listen here.
Zane Lowe is debuting “All The Time,” the Strokes’ first single off of Comedown Machine, on his radio show Wednesday.
Lowe will (also have an interview with at least one Stroke — my guess is Fab, what’s yours? — during the show.(UPDATE: Lowe just said on Twitter he will not interview a member of the band, as they’re not doing press.)
The following are the necessary details you need…
When does Zane’s show begin? It begins at 7 GMT and 2 PM EST. (This link allows you to figure out when you can hear it in the time zone you’re in; thanks FYeahthestrokes.)
If you don’t live in the UK, where can you hear Zane’s show? Just click here.
If I’m not mistaken, “All The Time” will be featured in the Hottest Record in the World segment. I believe that segment takes place about 30 minutes into the show.
Who’s excited for “All The Time?”
Ok so ‘All The Time by The Strokes is phenomenal. Don’t miss tonights worldwide first play. Radio 1 7:30pm.

@thestrokes_fans unlikely at this stage. Press blackout.

UPDATE 2: Lastly, it wouldn’t be surprising to see The Strokes completely black out the press for this record. Remember all of negative things that came out last time around; for example: that Nick never speaks with Nikolai/Julian, that Nick was trying to steal Strokes songs for a solo record? That had to be detrimental to the different members of The Strokes.

Yayyyy love it!
But disappointed with no interview–I suppose it makes sense given the shit show last time…
, i think julians vocals are too back in the mix :/
OMG… what happen to them… this is supposed to be their GEM in CM
@Icant win
“Song is super underwhelming. Under Cover of Darkness got me so excited for Angles I thought my head was going to explode. This song does the exact opposite for me, and I think it’s a really bad sign that most of the critics last week were referring to this as one of the album’s highlights.”
my thoughts exactly.
@FrenchConnection
Me to, OWT made me more excited. And I’m not saying I don’t like ATT. It’s good!
lol
even the song playing after All the Time
from HAIM “Falling”
sounds better
and a julians vocals too produced and everthing as too, just sing like on first impressions!!!
Good sonb but simplistic song
The tune tumbles without increase

HAIM
the song is actually quite short 2:30-2:35. the rest until 3:01 is just empty sound
why do all songs playing on BBC RADIO 1 Zane Lowe
sound better than ALL THE TIME! not saying all the times souns too bad, just weak at first 10 plays. good song but does not build much excitement like UocD.

Rat Attack HEARTBEAT

Quel putain de son de dingue ! Je surkiff, le retour de THE STROKES, les vrais !
When you listen to the Soundcloud version on Pitchfork.com, the end fits perfectly with the beginning of OWT. Nice.
Found it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkaGHv6RLBM
@Mario
I feel the same way about the vocal. I like the solo, and the verse ” You know the answer you’re looking for”. I prefer OWT, but this song gonna be awesome live with the ‘you never asked why’ on repeat could be a great final track on a setlist.
Goodbye till march, please everyone go buy a guitar and make music and see how hard out is to please someone and make music in general ,especially most the people on this board. I respect opinions but i cant understand why people just cant be happy. Oh Yeah and DOTHE HARLEM SHAKE!
@Adam
challenge accepted, lol
@Adam
You make music for yourself not for the audience…
@Ted
haha are you serious?
@Adam
Yes, but it’s easier to please people, but don’t see the point of it
