The Strokes were confirmed for the first of what figures to be hundreds of promotional events supporting their fourth record on Wednesday. The band will headline 2011′s Benicassim Festival, which is played near Valencia, Spain from July 14-17.
Early-bird tickets go on sale November 25 and you can purchase them here.

Yay! But where’s the confirmation for Coachella?!?
That’s the one I’m waiting for too. If they play Coachella, I’m flying out to see them, no questions asked.
I can’t wait to hear the conformation of Coachella. I’d force everyone I know to come with me. Coachella is #2 on my list of things to do before I get old.
